Dry Shampoo – EIMI Dry Me Dry Shampoo by Wella
With most products, when it’s pretty – I want it. When it’s trendy – I have to have it. But when it promises improvement, particularly regarding hair styling, I am very reluctant to even try it. This is especially true when something sounds just too darn good to be true – like dry shampoo. It’s from all the years I’ve spent attempting to manage this wild amount of hair (people, do not let my picture fool you) that makes me part of the last 34%. See definition of Late Majority Adopters. Apparently, it takes a ton of convincing to change this girl’s hair routine.
With that said, several years after first hearing about dry shampoo, and many friend recommendations later, I have finally tried it… and I LOVE IT! I’m here to tell you that it takes a good hour plus to wash, dry, and straighten my thick head of hair. As a momma of three, I cannot be involved in this kind of charade every single day! It just ain’t happenin’. I go as long as possible between “hair days” in this house! Never mind the fact that the three children I have are sweet little girls with just as much long and thick hair as their momma. I wash their hair way more often than my own (legit priorities) so this dry shampoo is a life saver. It’ll keep you looking good and feeling good, even without your go-to hat, on hair day three. Or four. Or five!
The dry shampoo that I love to use is EIMI Dry Me Dry Shampoo by Wella. I prefer to apply it at night when I need just one more day before washing. It absorbs the oil and makes me feel refreshed in the morning. This method is way better than dusting baby powder across your head; don’t tell me I’m the only one that’s ever tried that! Wella’s EIMI Dry Me is professional, easy, and smells AMAZING! I have found that other reviews rate this product as 4 out of 5 stars. Some say they dislike that this particular product doesn’t provide volume. But I specifically look for products that don’t add volume, so this one works great for me! Take my word for it. Put your hands up and step away from the baby powder!
